Google has just introduced a little time-saving trick for those who use G Suite apps. You can now instantly create things like a Google Doc or Sheet by using a keyword plus domain .new right in your browser address bar.

Before, you had to navigate to the app you want to use and click on “new” to begin a fresh project. This new method lets you skip a couple steps, and works with any sort of document that is under the G Suite umbrella.

Docs can be created with domains doc.new, docs.new or document.new; Sheets with sheet.new, sheets.new, or spreadsheet.new; Slides with slide.new, slides.new, deck.new, or presentation.new; Forms with form.new or forms.new; and Sites with site.new, sites.new, or website.new.

I don't know a ton about grammar. My girlfriend taught me almost everything I know over the course of 30 minutes one night when I was 21, shortly after graduating college with an English degree. I've occasionally thought about buying a used copy of Strunk & White because it looks cool, but I've never actually read it.
